“Called By Name” (Isaiah 43:1) was the theme for our Family Servant Project in Springfield, June 22-25.  In concert with two LCMS congregations from Quincy, we served people who live with developmental disabilities in Bethesda homes — and they blessed us, too!  We painted the bedrooms of Bethesda friends (in colors they chose!), and hosted them at Camp CILCA for a day of Bible Study, worship, lunch, and Bingo.  What a blessing! Us to them, servant to servant, and Bethesda friends to us!   We’re already talking about next summer…
